My camera is a tool to give me complete freedom to express myself. Behind the camera is where I feel safe to capture images the way I imagine them to be seen, through my vision and how I want to process them.
I tend to look for the understated, uninteresting, overlooked, and unimportant things to the average viewer.
I love to bring out the beauty of the shy, misunderstood, or left behind.
Growing up in Bristol, Bucks County, the suburbs of Philadelphia, and spent much of my time as a kid fishing in Cassalia Pond and biking with my brother Mark. I began taking photos at about 10 years old when Uncle Eugene gave me my first film camera.
